The purpose of this training is to familiarise users with the organisation and principles of using the resources and services of the UKSW Library and Information system. The training also presents basic information about network sources and information search tools.
The training is obligatory for all full-time as well as part-time students: first-year undergraduate and postgraduate students, first-year graduate students, and others beginning their studies at the University*. All of the above-mentioned students will be automatically enrolled in the training on USOSWeb. The training is dedicated exclusively to the above-mentioned students.
The training is available on the UKSW Moodle e-learning platform from 1 October 2025 and will be available until 30 June 2026 at https://e.uksw.edu.pl/course/view.php?id=53376. After this date, the last chance to pass the training will be a retake session (September 1–14, 2026).
It has an annual settlement procedure, and the condition for passing it is the correct solution of the final online test (at least 67% of correct answers) in at least one of the three attempts.
People who passed the training in previous years and have an entry in USOSWeb can obtain a transfer of the grade by submitting the fulfilled form below.
The assignment of the subject to the subprogram and stage of study is made by the student (look at Manual for students) or/and the dean’s office of a given field of study.
