Since now you can test ProQuest Central database for free.
ProQuest Central brings together many of our most used databases to create the most comprehensive, diverse, and relevant multidisciplinary research database available. It provides access to databases across all major subject areas, including business, health and medical, social sciences, arts and humanities, education, science and technology, and religion. The collection includes thousands of full-text scholarly journals, trade and professional titles, newspapers, magazines, dissertations, working papers, case studies, and market reports all together on a powerful, user-friendly platform.
Trial access can be used free of charge until March 31st, from UKSW campuses as well as from personal devices.
To use the database go to: http://han.uksw.edu.pl/han/proquest/, and log in to according to below examples:
- “initial of name”.surname@uksw.edu.pl (eg. t.abecadłowski@uksw.edu.pl) or
- name.surname@uksw.edu.pl (eg. tomasz.abecadłowski@uksw.edu.pl) or
- album(index)-number@uksw.edu.pl (ie. 111111@uksw.edu.pl, P-11111@uksw.edu.pl etc.).
The searchfield will be displayed after proper log in. Searching in the default mode allows you to search all databases at the same time. To search in the selected database(s) just click “Change databases”. After selecting the database(s) by marking the square next to its name(s), the selection needs to be confirmed by clicking “Use selected databases” button.
