Child & Adolescent Studies Source is a comprehensive full-text database offering credible and authoritative research on the growth, development, and well-being of children and adolescents. It provides information on cognitive, social, emotional, and mental health development, providing insight into the factors that shape human development from early childhood through adolescence. The database provides access to the full text of many of the most widely used scholarly journals in the field. It includes 95 active full-text journals that are not available in any version of Academic Search.
Child & Adolescent Studies Source includes 285 actively indexed journals with abstracts: 152 titles are available in full text in the following subject areas: youth development, behavioral health, child well-being and protection, early childhood education, family studies, juvenile justice, language development, mental health, nutrition and dietetics, school counseling, social media use, social work, special education, substance use and addiction prevention, technology in education, and trauma studies.
The Child & Adolescent Studies Source eBook Collection is available as a supplement to the database. It includes a wide selection of publications from reputable publishers on child and adolescent development and related topics.
Trial access to the database will last until October 30, 2026.
In order to use any EBSCO database go to http://han.uksw.edu.pl/han/academic-search-ultimate-ebsco/, and type in full login data according to below examples:
- „initial of name”.surname@uksw.edu.pl (ie. j.doe@uksw.edu.pl) or
- name.surname@uksw.edu.pl (ie. john.doe@uksw.edu.pl) or
- album(index)number@uksw.edu.pl (ie. 111111@uksw.edu.pl, P-11111@uksw.edu.pl etc.).
Then enter the one-time code from the authentication application installed on your smartphone.
After successfully logging in, select the database from the available databases (Child & Adolescent Studies Source).
