Every UKSW Library user with an active account has the option to send ‘purchase request’ if the searched book can not be found in the catalogue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is possible in two ways:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. If searched record can not be found in \u201cLibrary Catalog\u201d, You can try to \u201cSearch in all bases\u201d.

    From the publication record level:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    If you search for an item in Primo and it is not currently available, \u201eCheck for available services<\/strong>\u201d link appears on display. After clicking the link you are redirected to the \u201ePurchase Request\u201d form.<\/p>\n\n\n

    \"Purchase<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n

    The \u201ePurchase Request\u201d link opens a form already filled with bibliographic data<\/strong> (which may be modified and accompanied by a note). As you submit the request, it will be reviewed by the Library based on the availability of a given material on the market, available financial resources and the policy of collecting library collections. <\/p>\n\n\n

    \"Searching<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n

    2. Searched title is not available during search in the \u201cLibrary Catalog\u201d and the \u201c(\u2026) all bases\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Click on the ellipsis at the top of the Primo search page. The menu will display all options – select \u201ePurchase Suggestions\u201d to open, fill in a form manually<\/strong> and submit.
